17/10/14:Â Friday was a really hectic night in East London.Â
For a start we had to squeeze in a birthday dinner, drinks, screenings of Showgirls at the Rio Cinema and eventually end up at our destination du jour, new night Bang! at Rolling Stock. All of those required individual ensembles as we couldn’t let promoter Alexander Han down. Honey, he expected us to turn it OUT for the occasion.
It was, after all, his launch night, and in honour of such a major club illumination such as Mr Han, we decided to arrive fashionably late but right on time to catch the party in full sway.
As we swaggered into the venue, the club was literally spilling out onto the streets. Inside, the collection of familiar club people, hot blokes and sexy new faces was something out of a promoter’s dream. It was like one of the finest crowds we’ve ever seen, all gathered and gyrating to the seamless sounds of new gal Miss Gina Shim(my) and East London stars Tom Stephan and Borja Pena.
Exploring the warren of rooms and its darker corners before throwing ourselves into wild abandon on the dancefloor, it was fresh, it was fun and it will definitely be on our to do list when the night returns next month. Watch this space. Bang! is it.
