26/03/17:The fact that the night was a whole hour shorter on Saturday, due to the clocks going BST, meant that London’s dedicated followers of motions seemed all the more determined to squeeze out of it every last drop of fun they could get. Beyond, at Fire in Vauxhall, is of course the ideal place for such pursuit, particularly with the likes of Miswhite, Gonzalo or Tony English at the decks to pour over you waves after waves of electrifying decibels and lead you into a hedonistic trance. Buff and sexy dancers on the stage mirrored the happenings on the dancefloor with their agile gyrations. Our revellers grooved on, steadfastly intent on their pleasure-seeking mission, as the sun slowly emerged over the slumbering city. In fact the city was already well awake when we stumbled into the bright daylight, tired but content, and already thinking about next week.
