07/11/15: QX headed down to the steamy streets of Shoreditch as Blocheads rocked City Road for a roof-raising outing at East Bloc last weekend.
Taking in two dazzling dancefloors of thundering house grooves and devastating disco, a crowd of wayward Eastsiders kept the party rumblin’ into the dawn at one of London’s fave under ground club hangouts.
Bloc-bustin’ highlights in the DJ booth saw the likes of Wes DB, Lucious Flajore and Tafkanik slammin’ down turbo-charged beats in the main room, getting the throng stompin’ those boards amidst the dry ice ‘n’ lasers.
Next door and glamazon deck royalty, Princess Julia, packed in the masses for decadent deck work that had the mob bouncing off the walls for R&B classics in the bijou room two.
Meanwhile there was plenty more to come from long time legend Jeffrey Hinton, as drag queens and scene freaks joined hot hunks on the floor for sensational Saturday night shenanigans right through ‘til Sunday morning!
