05/12/15: Tripping down those hallowed stairs Blocheads is the Saturday night jewel in East Bloc’s crown.
Late night hedonists need only apply… everything kicked off when the DJ Tafkanik played those thudding beats that immediately transported you into the zone. Taking the lead BRÜT club’s Ross Jones took center stage with a setlist of music designed to get you flinging yourself around.
This is what clubbing is all about in 2015, a smoke filled room, flashing lights and permission to express yourself in whatever way you wish. Tasty Tim closed the night as only he knows how with a dash of style and a more than a few ‘bangers’ before we headed off into some morning glory.
In room 2 the legendary Jeffrey Hinton gave it some fantastic underground RnB vibes and classics, splashing and lashing out some sub-base demons of his own choice cuts. Dunno where he finds them to be honest, but whatever he does, it works!
