Dalston Superstore Seventh Birthday

01/05/16: It’s that time of the year again, when the banks need a break from swindling our money so the month of May is blessed with two crazy ass long weekends.

It gives us more of an excuse to be a hot mess on a Monday morning (not that most of us need that excuse, although it makes it more acceptable to look like Courtney Love in a K-Hole on the 149). This is where the seventh birthday of East London’s shining gem, Dalston Superstore, was the only plausible place for us to be spending our Sunday evening.

There was never going to be any doubt that the scene queens would be out in full force, enticing us with their Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve & Talent …Did anyone else see Foxxy Hunt dutty whining on the bar? She was all about that C.U.N.T.

With the upstairs of Superstore blasting out some much appreciated camp classics (can you imagine what happened when they played Slave 4 U) and the downstairs catering to the more hard-headed techno adoring gays of our scene, Superstore delivered everything and more for the bonkers bank holiday we’ve all been waiting for – the testosterone circulating the sweat-infused room was enough to make you forget Chariots shut down.

Superstore, you’ve got two weeks until the next bank holiday to plan a party that will live up to this Sunday Session. Maybe hire Lindsay for some party inspiration, that’ll surely get the gays pumping until mid-week.
