30/04/11: As one of the premier hang-outs for ruff ‘n’ tuff homos, Eagle attracts a gorgeously mixed crowd of skinheads, leathermen, club kids and Hoxton alternatives, with last weekend being no exception.
It was also manager Simon’s birthday, so the beer and barbecued burgers were flying off the shelf in the garden. Music came from deck maestro Luke Howard, and there was a live PA from Lee Thomes (ex of the boy band 2WO THIRD3) with some brilliant new material from his forthcoming album, including ‘Let Yourself Go’, a collaboration with Maltese DJ/producer Jjoy and ‘Call To Me’ with LoverushUK. A hot and balmy night in one of our favourite bars… happy birthday Simon!
