After last month’s re-launch of Covert, Foundation has become the latest addition to Friday nights in sarf London.
Proclaiming to be all about serious dance music and kicking the weekend off with a bang, Foundation seems to have already lived up to their promise by whacking Steve Pitron and Alan K on the same bill on launch night.
It may have been cold in the queue, but those savvy enough to get advance tickets soon had fire in their belly courtesy of a cheeky free shot on arrival for their troubles. Down the hatch, boys!
DJ regulars Guy Williams, Paulo Moreno and Jamie Hammond, playing uplifting TFI Friday house in the main room, while Room2 went for a deeper, intense sound that took clubbers into the early hours.
DJ Smokin’ Jo swapped Space in sunny Ibiza to appear as the night’s special guest, boding well for future turns from jet-setting DJ royalty. Covert’s new era is already looking exciting and we can’t wait to see it get into its stride over the coming months. Just keep those free shots coming, yeah?
