28/04/11: It’s been a while since we saw a boy band at G-A-Y, but that was remedied last week, and not by just any boy band, but by one of the biggest on the planet, Blue.
With a special Eurovision themed show (in case you’ve been under a rock, they are our entry this year), Jeremy opened by quizzing the star of sitcoms Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, Gavin & Stacey and Benidorm, and Olivier Award winner, the lovely Sheridan Smith on here Euro-trivia, before introducing the boys from Blue. With a packed set that included hits like ‘All Rise’, ‘Too Close’, ‘One Love’ and ‘Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word’, they finished with their Eurovision song ‘I Can’ as the capacity crowd went wild with Union Jack flags. Another cracking night at G-A-Y.
