09/10/14: In our ongoing, and fully justified, love affair with all thing Ru Paul, last week we popped along to G-A-Y Porn Idol as the gorgeous 51st state herself, Alaska Thunderfuck, dropped in to London with a big old ‘Hiiiieeeee’.
The runner-up from Drag Race season 5, Alaska is a charismatic alien crash-landed from the planet Glamtron with the voice of an angel – if angels were crack whore tranimal cockettes. For those that have not seen Porn Idol before, it’s like X Factor but the contestants strip instead of sing, and are ‘judged’ by Baga Chipz, Mary Mac and Alaska. Simon Cowel should take note: let’s get Louis Walsh baring all, buttocks and bollocks, along with Mel B. Now that’s a ratings winner to pound Strictly to the ground. But back to Porn Idol, and although most definitely a connoisseur of cock, as a self-confessed lover of a chunky butt, guest judge Alaska reserved her highest scores for the derrieres that wobbled, swung and impressed with girth but in the end it was muscles, tattoos and a cheeky face that won the day, and once again mega-fans Graham Norton and Little Mix’s Jade were right in the thick of the action!
