10/04/11: You always feel a little nervous, don’t you? Being reunited with ‘friends’ not seen since way back when, a tad embarrassed as all eyes are on you. What will be made of how you have progressed? Will you be the one who’s fallen flat on your face? I took a deep breath as I tied up my faithful ‘friends’ and rolled out on to the floor, spinning around to the disco tunes being spun by Dusty O and Stewart Who?. My nerves and embarrassment soon disappeared as I rolled round hand-in-hand with my inner child. Whether a novice, pro or downright show-off, this is somewhere to enjoy your time like the days of your school disco. I hope Gay City Rollers is back for good; I don’t want to put my ‘friends’ back in the closet with my wayward inner child!
