18/10/14: Handsome by name and most certainly by nature; another of East Bloc’s nights out was back last Saturday – 10.30 through to 6.00am – the decks and sound system abounding with decades worth of House music and mixes, the dancefloor with a score of good looking men.
Known as one of the less flashy nights out East, Handsome frequently draws in the more cool and casual type of guys, in it mainly for great basslines and good company – with all-round less of the studied ‘edge’ and aggressingly altnernative/conscientious club kid excess that seems to have underscored and monopolised many of the weekend gigs for some time.
Catering to those gathered on the main floor were DJs Terry Farley, Fidel and Chris Camplin. Mistamaker and Andrew Moore in the R’n’B room.
