19/03/16: QX joined the block-rockin’ birthday crowds on City Road as Shoreditch LGBT landmark, East Bloc, celebrated five fantastic years on the scene with a dazzling ‘High Five’ anniversary bash last weekend.
Featuring two rip-roarin’ rooms of gorgeous guys ‘n’ girls plus a dizzying array of DJ sounds, an all-star cast at the decks kept those beats pounding through ‘til morning at one of the hottest basement hangouts in town.
Highlights amidst the laser beams saw the likes of Andrew Moore joining Tom Stephan, Louis Chatten, Guy Williams and Ben Jamin on the wheels of steel for jaw-dropping grooves that had the masses going wild.
Top class thrills featured no end of sweaty euphoria in the main room with enough earth-shattering beats to keep even the most voracious of club queens strutting beneath the mirror balls. Elsewhere there was more to explore with pouty posing in the tiny room 2 and tittle-tattle on the banquettes as the disco throng made it a night to remember.
Meanwhile, QX headed back into the fray ‘til way past our bedtimes for a birthday blowout to keep the multitudes coming back for more!
