18/03/17: There were quite a few choices for a night out last Saturday night, let’s be honest, but if you decided on Dalston Superstore, you would know you had made the right choice! It was mad. The place was packed and everyone seemed to be buzzing with a fresh energy from the turning season. Guy Williams, reading the crowd perfectly, matched this energy downstairs with an amazingly uplifting set – an ideal soundtrack for a spring awakening! Upstairs, we had Johnny Kalifornia and Mr HomoElectric himself, Jamie Bull, who kept the party going with what seemed to be a glorious melange of genres. They played everything from rock to disco to something vaguely reminiscent of Katy B. Whatever it was, it was genius because HomoElectric was non-stop, all night long!
