13/10/12: Sure enough, London is the centre of the world this year, what with the Olympics, the Jubilee and Girls Aloud’s impending reunion tour.
Yet there are some things London can’t quite beat other cities at. One of those things is the large-scale fetish events that the likes of Berlin, Madrid and San Francisco stage on a regular basis. All that changed this year as Hotwired declared its rightful place on the ISC, or the ‘International Sluts Calendar’ as we call it at QX Towers.
The first two years saw Hotwired go from a new fetish event with a loyal following garnered from promoters Rob Rutt and Suzie ‘Hard On’ Krueger’s respective regular clubs, to an altogether more scene-wide affair. Still cracking the strict dress code whip but with enough club appeal to reach a new audience, Hotwired’s mix of quality DJs and sexed-up atmosphere created the perfect stomping ground to appeal to more than just your die-hard fetish fanatics. As a result what we got on the night was hundreds of up-for-it, horny-as-fuck regular clubbers mixing it up with a dedicated fetish crowd for a party that will go down as one of the best events of the year.
For the more adventurous guys out there, the play area’s toys were amplified to monstrous proportions as the infamous cruising car returned, along with a caravan and even an inflatable dark room! Oh yes, the boys were bouncing all over it and that caravan was most definitely a rockin’ all night long.
When I wasn’t picking my jaw up off the floor checking out every other hot bloke that wandered past, I was trying to keep my eyes in their sockets to focus on the hot blonde German sausage that this reporter pulled that night. Oh yes, Hotwired is already on our must-do list for 2013…
