13/03/11: After the amazing party that was Alan K’s last Beyond, for us and most of Vauxhall there really was only one choice on Sunday, and so it came to pass that we found ourselves on the heaving main floor at Fire for Later’s 8th birthday. Trademark pumping house music was supplied by Fire residents Paul Martin, Oli, The Sharp Boys, Jamie Head and Paul Heron while, after a touch of the Blue Peter make-your-own-outfit in the dressing room, Katy, Sandro, Thiago et al danced their socks off in a Daft Punk ‘Around The World’ show. Proving why it’s become the staple of a Sunday afternoon for many of London’s clubbers, Later’s 8th was fantastic.
