17/11/14: Taking inspiration from Madonna’s 1990 number one hit and performance at the MTV Video Music Awards the same year, Popcorn went all ‘VOGUE’ on us this week with yet another high production and stunning stage show.
With pin sharp accurate choreography, Popcorn muscle-boy Matthew was laced in to a Marie Antoinette gown and, as Ru Paul would say, lip-synched for his life.
Supported by a bevy of other painted ladies and a shit hot Vogue troupe serving all the Vogue Femme catwalk, duckwalk, floor, dips and drops, the show held the packed auditorium enraptured from start to finish.
Providing the aural stimulation in the main room, Adam Turner and Neroli delivered a dance extravaganza while Zach Burns ruled the DP and Terry T Rex and Sam DMS served classic R’n’B.
Another Monday under the arches packed with hot Italians and a delicious melange of locals and tourists as only Popcorn knows how. There is nothing better to kick of your week.
