21/04/11: The Easter bank holiday weekend lifted off like a rocket as the QX Club News crew checked out the intimate yet action-packed proceedings at Area last Thursday.
Glammed to the max and channeling a pistol-packin’ vibe, London’s very own circuit spectacular made a welcome return in bijou form as a rampant gang of ravers ran amok for a pumpin’ party right through the night. Featuring a line-up of top class DJ talent, highlights included Amir Groove pulling the trigger on a funkin’ farrago of underground barrel-spinnin’ beats in the Embankment Bar.
Next door and scene superstar Fat Tony whipped up the crowd for a barrage of ricocheting house licks and dancefloor classics that had the Chapel Bar going wild. Meanwhile, with the capital experiencing its warmest April since records began, the half-crazed antics spilled onto the outside terrace as the romping Revolver fans made it a night to remember!
