22/09/11:Â The Shadow Lounge radiated magnetic power when it opened its doors for XXTRA.
QX checked out Thursday’s event and it seemed as though every Soho socialite had been drawn to the velvet vault to throw XXTRA host, Terry-James Lynch a birthday bash to remember. The night was far from forgettable.
Fiercely working the renowned Shadow Lounge pole, was go-go dancer D’relle Khan… we can’t pretend we weren’t slightly envious of the pole’s position! The New York dancer was handed a well-earned break from the stage by Jeyjon who treated us to a live PA.
Performing new tracks from his recent album, ‘Augmented Disco’, Jeyjon’s slinky persona and tribal inspired tune made us feel like we were storming down the catwalk! (You can download his latest tune ‘You Got It – Lo Tienes (I Dig It Mix)’ on iTunes now.)
A total hit with the glammed-up crowd who truly honoured the XXTRA legacy; where fashion meets fun.
