The story continues this weekend as the boys invade The Shadow Lounge for not one, but two parties. Promoter Anthony Areal reveals more to Cliff Joannou about the event, and the upcoming third Delice Dream party week in Spain…
For those Brits who don’t know, tell us about Delice…
The Delice DJs have been attracting 8,000 boys every month to some of Europe and Canada’s biggest and best gay clubs since 2002. We are proud to be partners with Matinée Group in Barcelona, WE Party in Madrid, La Demence in Brussels, Muccassasina in Roma and the Shadow Lounge in London.
Delice returns to Shadow Lounge for two parties this weekend. What’s happening on the two nights?
We have two special events at the Shadow Lounge. On Friday, it’s the first AussieBum night in London by Delice. It means the French Deliceboys wearing the Aussiebum items all night long, and Aussiebum will be giving away 50 swim suits during the night! On Saturday, it’s Delice Dream Pre-Party with GrindR. It’s a night dedicated to the Spring Break week in Spain, with a show that will be 100% Delice, with a lot of giveaways, like the new Delice Dream T-shirts, and GrindR goodies.
What elements of Delice are you bringing to London?
Mister Mola, our resident DJ from Brussels, will be playing. Mister Mola travels all around Europe and spins a happy yet progressive dancefloor mix. On stage, the Deliceboys team features boys from Paris and Warsaw. The best way to discover them is to come to spend the night with us!
You are also hosting a huge summer holiday week in Lloret D Mar, the ‘Delice Dream Spring Break’… sounds fun!
In May 2013, the third edition of Delice Dream Festival will take place in Lloret De Mar, north of Barcelona. Delice Dream is the first Gay Spring Break organized in Europe and the concept simple: more than 800 boys in 3 hotels, the world’s best DJs, sunshine and an all-inclusive formula. This means you get free access to 15 parties and events during the holidays, from night clubs, to pool parties, to beach parties and a Boat Party.
Some of the biggest gay clubs are hosting parties as part of it. Which clubs are involved?
Just some of the parties invited at Delice Dream 3 include the Circuit Festival Pre-Party (Barcelona), WE Party (Madrid), Scream Party (Paris), Delice, The Farm (Milan), Europride Pre-Party (Marseille) and Red&Blue (Antwerpen). We also have the best European DJs: Javier Medina, Carlos Gallardo, Paul Heron, Elof De Neve, Mister Mola, Brent Nicholls and much more to be confirmed.
