Super Electric Party Machine: Album Launch

1701/14: We fastened our seat belts, folded our trays and prepared for the launch of a lifetime Friday night as East Bloc zoomed into stratospheric heights with the release of Super Electric Party Machine’s self-titled album.

Fuck it! We ripped off those safety belts and danced in the aisles to some serious brain bustin booty shakin soon-to-be house anthems by a cavalcade of clubbers who kicked our asses and made us love it!

Larry Tee, AttackAttackAttack, Will Bond, Nwango and Lady Cartel, household names who’ve gouged out a niche in London’s club circuit and made East Bloc the go-to scene for all things fresh’n’dirty, treated old fans and new friends with samplings from their sumptuous debut, a sonic smorgasbord that blends it all in one juicy aural orgy.

Street-talkin’, catwalkin’ Portia Ferrari purred out the new single BodyTalk to the drooling masses queuing under the watchful eye of Ashley at the door down the stairs crammin’ both bars and dancin on the chairs when they ran outta floor space!

Fierce foursome FiFi LaTrue, Lucy Trash, Tommy and Alexandra laid down the low-down on the not-so-down-low vibe:
“Baby, this is the place! We can really rip ‘em up if we need to, but everyone’s so fuckin friendly, you can talk to anyone!”

True enough, no sooner had I propped up the bar when my water bottle was “cheered” by a very sexy grin attached to a very hairy chest named Jackson fresh from Berlin and here to stay, yay! “I love the attitude-free atmosphere. I really liked SEPM. It’s my first time hearing them and they’re great!”

Here’s to SEPM dishin’ the dirty for months to come!
