25/06/16: Being Pride weekend the choice of club nights taking place in the capital was quite overwhelming but “Tusk – Love and Pride” at Dalston Superstore was one party that really stood out and screamed “QUALITY!”
The Superstore always attracts the most fierce and savvy clubbers from the across the LGBTQI rainbow and tonight was no exception. In fact, the Pride-appropriate sea of colour that hit me when I walked through the door was positively eye-gasmic!
Both floors were packed and in full-on party mode while the music simply oozed class all night long.
In the upstairs bar the Tusk DJ’s were layering a pristine blend of electronica, house and techno, while A Love From Outer Space took over the steamy laser basement and was throbbing to Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston’s trademark chuggy hypnotic house bombs.
A truly awesome Pride party and which further goes to reaffirm Dalston Superstore’s position as one of London’s most vibrant and significant LGBTQI spaces.
