05/05/13: WE Party has always been a first class event, so we had no concerns that the WE Airlines event would be a coach affair. Indeed, take off was smooth and fast on Bank Holiday Sunday and soared well into the early hours.
Drawing a crowd of wannabe-trolly dollies, hunks on auto-pilot and partygoers whose only carry-on was a flimsy vest and sweaty pecs, WE Airlines was the perfect passport to the start of summer fun.
Hosted by Ben Kaye and the heaven-sent JJ Clark, the Coronet put on a yet another huge performance of dance, video and gogo boys with business class bodies and a Madrid tan.
Steve Pitron, Paul Heron and D’Johnny played the best of house until 7am but clubbers made sure to fasten their seatbelts for special guest DJ Manuel de Diego.
WE Airlines jetted in as the pre-party for the massive As One In The Park Festival, taking place on 26 May in Victoria Park. With the likes of Offer, Ben Manson and Paulo Pachecho promising to be playing far more than the safety announcements, we are ready with our boarding passes and heading directly for the rear of the craft.
