28/05/11: The one size fits all guys crowned a long weekend of Bear Pride activities as QX beefed it up at Arcadia for XXL’s Bear Pride main event spectacular last Saturday. Packing in a capacity crowd of burly blokes, grizzly geezers and cute cubs for one of the biggest XXL parties we can remember, a dazzling line-up of DJs, performers and artistes ensured a happening night of outsize antics right through ‘til the dawn. Highlights included NYC drag superstars Sherry Vine and Peppermint entertaining the hairy hunks on the outside CaBEARet stage, along with a live show from upcoming manband, the oh-so-cute Cubstars. Elsewhere, ram-packed main room went wild for stunning DJ sets from residents Christian M and Alex Logan, plus super special guests Cahill, whilst disco king Joe Egg raised the roof in the back bar with a retro-boosted run down of pop ‘n dance classics. Meanwhile, there was plenty of action in the darkroom, porn cinema and main bar as the man-lovin’ masses ensured Bear Pride 2011 went off like a rocket!
