01/01/14: After the roadblock that was New Year’s Eve at XXL, NYD Fusion was a less manic affair with a super hot crowd of guys and girls where every one seemed hand picked for their friendliness and fun factor.
Shirts were in short supply (always a bonus in my book) and the card-carrying gym members were out in force.
Christian M opened the aural smörgåsbord with chunky uplifting tuneage designed to drive off any lingering hangovers before handing over to the Freemasons with a delightfully eclectic mashup of their own mixes of classics like Depeche Mode’s ‘Heaven’ and Faith Evans’ ‘Mesmerized’ along with newer tracks like Katherine Ellis’ ‘Tears’ via the crowd-pleasing ‘Rain Down Love’.
Bringing up the rear as it were, but by no means playing second fiddle, was the amazing Cahill whose podcasts are firm features on my playlist. A super sexy night and the perfect opening to 2014.
