04/11/17: Everything about XXL is YUGE. The dance floors, the steam cannons, the chunky men, and the big bear-hug welcome you feel once you’re through the doors! Don’t get us wrong, sometimes we like the intimacy of a smaller club and being able to look the DJ right in the eyes as he scrolls through his laptop, but other times, we favour the super-sized hedonism of XXL! Spice of life innit. It was another belter on Saturday for their Guy Fawkes special. Dave Robson was freshly-shorn and treated us to a bit of The Purple One. That’s Prince, not his penis.
