Bring your friends to the West London Queer Project 4th Birthday Party. There’s a street party and an after-party. Celebrate this milestone with fantastic entertainment, great company, and fabulous prizes. WLQP looks forward to celebrating with you.

Since its inception four years ago, WLQP has been dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and fun spaces for the LGBTQI+ community in West London.

WLQP has organised memorable events such as charity fundraisers, quiz nights, movie nights, seasonal parties, scenic walks, picnics, and weekly socials. These events bring the whole community together and help foster lasting connections.

West London Queer Project has also achieved significant milestones

Let’s celebrate the installation of four beautiful rainbow crossings on Chiswick High Road. The event included famous personalities such as broadcasters Clare Balding and her partner Alice Arnold, McFly drummer Harry Judd, and TV and radio presenter Nicki Chapman. Additionally, WLQP supported the launch of the rainbow crossing in Brentford.

WLQP collaborates with Brentford, Chelsea, and Fulham Premiership Football Clubs. The project also works with the incredible NHS Wellbeing and Recovery College teams to provide mental health and wellbeing workshops for the LGBTQI+ Community. Partnerships have also been created with four West London boroughs (Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Hounslow, and Ealing councils) to promote inclusivity and support within the community.

WLQP Touch Rugby

Launched at Gunnersbury Park Sports Hub, WLQP offers West London Workouts, including spin and circuit classes, regardless of age, gender, or fitness level. Other sports-focused events include establishing the West London Warriors Touch Rugby Club, a community sports team that fosters camaraderie and promotes a healthy lifestyle.

Founder Aubrey Crawley wins Civic Honours Award

With each milestone and event, WLQP continues to strengthen the community bonds and celebrate the diversity and uniqueness of its members. They have consequently been honoured with multiple awards, including the Hounslow Community Star, Hammersmith & Fulham Civic Honours, and the Bank of London Best Small Business or Brand.
