Stonewall Housing provides essential housing advice, advocacy, and support to LGBTQ+ individuals facing homelessness or unsafe living conditions. Last year alone, Stonewall Housing was able to support 3200 LGBTQI+ people. However, more than 70,000 people across the UK need help. Stoenwall’s services include a mental health advocacy program, specialised support for those escaping domestic abuse or for people who need support around drugs or alcohol, as well as targeted assistance for those over 50, and advice drop-ins across London, Brighton, and Birmingham. Additionally, we provide supported accommodation for 18 to 25-year-olds.
One-third of the people we support have experienced some kind of abuse in addition to homelessness, whether that be abuse at the hands of parents, siblings or partners. Stonewall Housing strives to be a judgment-free support system that enables people to rebuild their lives. By attending this event, you are helping ensure everyone has a safe place to call home and can access the specialist support they need.
Thanks to the generosity of Ffiona’s Restaurant, all proceeds from ticket sales will go directly towards supporting the charity’s vital work.
So please book as soon as you can and by 14 October 2024.
