The Metropolitan Police have charged a group of men who are alleged to have carried out 35 burglaries and 20 related frauds between October 2024 and March 2025, relating to a total of 22 victims.

The Metropolitan Police released a statement stating that Rahmat Khan Mohammadi, 22, of Harrow, who was arrested in April, has been charged with one count of theft, 17 counts of burglary, and 12 counts of fraud. He has already appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court, where he was remanded in custody to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday, 25 July.

Another man, the Met reports, Mohammed Bilal Hotak, 21, of Hackney, was also arrested in April and has also been charged. Both he and Mohammadi appeared at Isleworth Crown Court in May, charged with one count of theft, 14 burglaries and nine fraud offences. He was also remanded in custody to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on Friday, 25 July.

A third man, according to the police news statement, is called Mozamel Rahman, 29, of Harrow, and who had been arrested in April. He was charged with three counts of burglary and two fraud offences. He appeared at Willesden Magistrates’ Court in July, where he was bailed to attend the same court on Friday, 8 August.

The fourth man, Ibrahim Yaqobie, 28, of Harrow, who was arrested in April, has been charged with the same offences as Rahman. He has been bailed to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday, 8 August.

A trial date for both Mohammadi and Hotak has been set for Monday, 13 October at Isleworth Crown Court.
