Our fave thing about the London scene is its diversity. That’s a buzz word that sometimes gets chucked around too liberally, but it really does apply to London’s kaleidoscopic queer scene, which plays host to POC nights, nights for queer Jewish people, nights for queer disabled people and tonight, GAY GARAGE, for queers who are into the garage scene.

Gay Garage has been around for a while now and it’s been growing in popularity, with more and more people pulling together slick looks and swaggering over to East London to relive the definitive decade.

This time around for their thirteenth edition they’re at a brand new venue, Mick’s Garage in Hackney Wick. It’s a major 6700 square foot space, home to loads of the kind of cutting edge events that London’s partygoers pioneer.

Things are set to kick off around 9pm, going through to the wee hours. It gets busy so arrive early-ish to avoid queues. More info on their Facebook page.
