A wave of thirst has hit the gays. After months of lusting after Queer Eye’s food guru Antoni Porowski, he’s finally back on the market. According to US Weekly, after being together for seven years, him and his (now ex) boyfriend Joey Krietemeyer had a “clean split” which apparently went down two months ago.
A source told the magazine that it was an amicable split, and that the two guys remain friends. This news is sad for fans of the super cute couple, especially after he described himself as a “33-year-old basically married made” in an interview with Vulture just earlier this year. The couple shared a 600 square-foot studio apartment in Brooklyn.
The couple were living together, and Krietmeyer (a creative services director) helped Antoni compose an e-mail to his father where he talked about his personal life, where he came out by saying “I love. I am loved. His name is Joey, and we live together”.
Hawk-eyed fans of Antoni noticed signs of the split on social media after Krietmeyer deleted a majority of his photos, including those with Antoni, off his Instagram profile.
Though this might be sad news for admirers of the adorable couple, it’s great news for us thristy gays who’d love to take a bite of his avocado toast. Imagine the breakfast at his place the morning after. OFT.
