That’s exactly what The City of Quebec had to offer last Sunday, as Miss Penny took to the stage at the traditional British boozer just off Oxford Street. Leave the tongue popping, death dropping and reading glasses at home, because Miss Penny takes you back to school for a master class in traditional drag cabaret. From the soundtrack of ’Wicked’ to classics like Diana Ross, Miss Penny wowed the crowd with her live renditions. No lip-syncing to be found here, hunties! Attracting a more mature crowd of men that night including a few silver foxes that caught our eye, Sundays at The City of Quebec are exactly what the doctor ordered before returning to the stress of work, studies and the dreaded morning commutes.
