03/07/14: The parade might have ended last week, but G-A-Y Porn Idol proved we got plenty of Pride in our pants and contestants whipped it out and did it for ol’ Blighty!
Braver still, they did it in front that fang-tooth Dragula from Pittsburgh, Transylvania, RuPaul’s Drag Race Winner and new bestie, Sharon Needles readin beads with Baga Chipz, Michael Mitchell and Silver Summers.
Pickins were scarce among the man tramps workin the pole for £100, ‘til the clouds parted and out popped dragtastic star Robin Banks making her first drag appearance and wipin the floor with the competition!
Just when we thought that 100 quid was hers, up from the crowd came fiery redhead drag-on William leading to a perfect 10 tie score for both resulting in a dance off to a Sharon Needles performance. Nail-biting exhilaration! William won by a hair but Robin put it best:
“First is the worst; Second is best; Im the prettiest; Fuck all the rest!”
Sharon kicked ass on two more powerstompin tunes, held court with her fans and summed up yours truly as:
“You look like an attractive Bruce Villanch!”
