03/02/11: One of our secret guilty pleasures has always been the Thursday night clubbing, so we were excited to hear a freshly overhauled Gravity ‘Gold’ was back on the scene at Fire. Open from a very respectable 11pm until a not so respectable 8am, we rocked up at 2 o’clock last Friday morning for a bit of a dance with some mates. The lovely Sylvia Rebel was at the helm, and knowing her penchant for skimpily clad muscle boys, we weren’t wrong in predicting the style the gogos would take – and very easy on the eye they were, too! It was all change on the DJ front with a pumping line-up of Jamie Head, Lee Harris, Job Byrne and Alan K playing uplifting house in the main room. Top tunes, top totty and a top night – Thursdays are back on the calendar.
