REMEMBRANCE BALL

03/12/11: Close to two decades may have passed since the very worst of the Western AIDS epidemic, but the capital still found time to remember the tragedy of a generation cut down in their prime as mega-venue Pulse raised the roof for a stomping World AIDS Day Remembrance Ball last weekend.

QX Club News hit the happening Pulse arches as DJ superstars the Freemasons, Cahill and Simon Le Vans drew in a hyped-up throng of music lovers for a fundraising bash in aid of HIV charities Status and Mildmay that had the dancefloor rockin’ through ‘til late.

An intimate but highly charged affair, our high point of the night saw us burnin’ up the disco tiles for a pumpin’ set from Cahill, surrounded by a clutch of hot hunks amidst the cavernous interior of one of London’s most atmospheric venues.

Meanwhile, there was room to take a breather from all that activity as we gathered our chums for a break in one of the sumptuous chill out lounges before getting back down to business of partying ‘til we dropped. Here’s to all those no longer with us: never forget.

Check out more photos from this event and plan your next night out, all in the palm of your hand with the ‘QX Gay London’ iPhone app. Available to download FREE from the iTunes app store.
