So comedy lovers, here’s something going on up in North London which I hear is all the rage. Comedy at Green Rooms Hotel on Thursday May 3rd. A monthly evening from 8pm-10pm, where the talents are hosted by Joe Sutherland, and they are Mawaan Rizwan with drag sparkle from Cassandra!

Over in Camden, get into Trash Bash Birthday on 3rd May at Her Upstairs – the premier home of all thing drag and cabaret. From 8pm-11pm, join Taylor Trash for a birthday spectacular with Bethany Haven, Taxi Rank, Mars, Mary Poppers and Cliona Craic performing for our pleasure!

Bundle into The Glory basement for Douze! The Eurovision-Pop-Comedy Musical on Thursday 3rd May where show time starts at 10pm. Catch this acclaimed piece of camp musical theatre, where Xnthony and The Penny Slots make (another) Eurovision comeback armed with a coachload of hits – and they’re desperate to win!

Enjoy a moment of fine dining and the wafting tones of a discerning soundtrack provided by Jonjo Jury (Savage) and Severino (Horse Meat Disco) at Fruity Munch Spot on Friday 4th May. It’s at Hoi Polloi, from 8pm till 1am. Book in to reserve your table or just hang out at the bar sipping delicious cocktails and nibbles and catching up with the gossip!

Troop up to Dalston Superstore for LaGaSta with Joakim (Tigersushi) on Friday 4th May from 9pm till 3am. It’s all going on with Joakim giving us a 3 hour set in the basement celebrating a LaGaSta vinyl record release compilation entitled ‘Last Gas Station’. Plus DJ Maria Politi from Discosodoma sets the basement vibes with a special set to get you in the mood. The bar action hosts DJs Vangelis, A Man To Pet and Jonjo Jury while Lucy Fizz and Chester Hayes kick off their heels with some ‘on the bar’ dance gyration.

‘A night of performance art…’ BiRDS at VFD Friday 4th May is where you can catch Karnage, Kevin Le Grand and Jeanie Crystal taking the floor for some entertaining turns, while DJs Josh Quniton and Thomas Greggs take us through the night (10pm till 3am) with their maje music selection! Make a return visit on Saturday 5th May for VFD Femmetopia! Performance, music and dressing up with host Kat Hudson, La JohnJoseph and Lewis G Burton. 9pm till 3am.

Catch some bands play live… SC&P (Snap, Crackle & Pop) present Schwefelgelb + Broken English Club on Friday 4th May at Bloc over in Autumn Street E3. It’s a late night rave up from 11pm till 6am, with DJ sets from residents Scott Fraser and Harry James.

All day, all night The Egg presents Gold Diggers which starts with a day party from 2pm and continues into the night till 6am on Saturday 5th May. Majorness with a DJ line up to satisfy your every need, including Tafkanik, Fanar, Nic Fischer, Fat Tony, Jeffrey Hinton and me, Princess Julia going back2back. Back with a bang! Little Gay Brother is on Saturday 5th May at Omeara, 6 O’Meara Street, SE1. It’s non-stop dance action with the L.G.B. dance troupe who perform their brilliant routines and DJs Jonathan Bestley, Chaka Khan’t, Wax Wings, Maze & Masters plus shussshhhh top of the heap special guest DJ joins the night pounding out the beats from 10.30pm till 5.30am.
