Each year World AIDS Day is marked here in the capital by a number of fundraising and awareness raising events, and with half of all known UK positive diagnoses living in London it is heartening that the people we elect to power are finally acknowledging it.

14/05/11: With all the campery and paraphernalia associated with Eurovision, there really is only one place to watch it, so donning our best Union Jack finery we rocked up to G-A-Y Bar and prepared to cheer, boo and hiss like it was panto season.

13/10/10: 2009’s Golden Boy, X Factor winner Joe McElderry, was back as man of the moment last week - at his new single’s G-A-Y signing. A solid crowd of guys were out in force to share it with him – forming a queue that looped around the ground floor, leading everybody in an orderly fashion past the ‘Ambition’ single stands that claimed one corner of the bar.
