14/12/12: Coming back to New Bloomsbury Set is like going to see a dear old friend, with the added benefit of colourful characters, buff men and more booze than you can shake an Oliver Reed at.

13/10/12: Never ones to leave a stone unturned in search of good time, we decided to check out the New Bloomsbury Set bar, conveniently located about two minutes from Russell Square tube station, last Saturday for the first time.

20/09/12: Are Thursdays still the new Fridays? Or is that Wednesdays now? Would that make Thursdays the new Saturdays?

24/05/11: It doesn’t take this reviewer much convincing to mince down to New Bloomsbury Set (or, in fact most places that serve me alcohol).

18/02/12: Now, I’m no stranger to the gorge surrounds of New Bloomsbury Set, but it had been far too long since I headed over to one of my favourite bars.

03/10/11: One of our favourite watering holes, and a gem in the heart of Bloomsbury, NBS has the hip vibe of an underground New York bar and is always stuffed with attitude-free and gorgeous, trendy blokes.

We can’t believe that one of our favourite bars is almost a year old. Time sure flies when you’re lolling around in the gutter.

18/10/10: O. M. F. G. - as the kids say. We fully appreciate a new drinking den here at QX Towers… it signals the beginning of a clean bar tab and somewhere we’ve yet to be forcibly ejected from. But we love it even more when said new bar gets it right!
