06/05/12: Licking her way through the crowd like a horny lizard, spitting lyrics that would burn the devil himself, there is only one Dame that can sell out a Vauxhall venue, week-in, week-out and have them all dancing to her tune like she’s the pied piper of the gays.
This is, of course, the fabulous, the amazing, D.E. Experience! After you’ve had your Sunday spit roasts, it’s a hilarious way to finish off a Sunday afternoon. D.E. puts on a marathon show every week – she does an entire set even before the curtains have opened!
And then poking through the curtains you can see (not proof that she’s really a man) her arm waving the famous diamante mic, teasing the crowd into an almighty frenzy.
Then, once the rollercoaster show of songs, topical gags and cutting quips was over, the entertainment continued well into the early hours for an extended club session with the mega DJ talent of Simon Le Vans, Andy Almighty, Sean Sirrs and Rob C on mixing duties. Sundays at the RVT never fail to deliver.
