London has the world's most diverse late night gay scene. Mainly located around its three gay villages - Soho, Shoreditch and Vauxhall - there's a gay nightclub to suit every taste, with music policies ranging from R&B and pop to full-on funky house via more underground, edgier sounds. There are, of course, many one-off and special events that happen around town to keep a look out for. And if it's something more 'adult' that you're after, then there's a whole heap of men-only and fetish special interest clubs out there, too.
13/04/13: Vauxhall went intergalactic as out-of-this-world Spanish clubbing superbrand, Matinée, crash-landed on London with a ‘Starship’-themed bash last weekend. The capital’s homosexual space cadets were out in force for the welcome return of one of the most popular parties in the universe, with Fire transformed into a futuristic dance-drome attracting a monumental mass for three rooms of gravity-defying antics at one of the hottest hotspots in town.
TO INFINITY AND BEYOND
Matinée returns for an intergalactic experience to take you beyond the final frontier and into a world far, far away with a ‘Starship’ theme. OK, it’s not that far away - it’s over at Fire in Vauxhall on the Victoria Line - but if past events are anything to go by, this one will blow you into the stratosphere and into Beyond [the after-hours at Area]… literally. At last, the British Interplanetary Society across the road from Fire will have something to talk about (seriously, take a look when you leave, it’s right there!). Promoter Mauricio Ortiz reveals all…

24/09/11: After their last outing at Fire where the CasaLatina crew dumped a whole car on stage and then proceeded to cover it with almost naked go-go’s covered in soapy suds, expectations for last week’s party were high, and as the show opened with no less than a dozen dancers as pimps and hoes, we knew that ‘Sugar Daddy’ was the night for us.

15/08/11: Orange is THE perfect afterhours party to end the weekend and, as I traveled back from Brighton, I was sure it was going to be great as I was greeted by Glendora ‘Camp Girl’ upon arrival.
