These people are EPIC

Meet the team behind this week’s big club explosion when Epic returns to super club Pulse…

DJ Pagano

After conquering the heart of the gay clubbers with his productions, compilations and by playing at nearly every single major gay festival and club around the world (including Circuit Festival by the Matinée Group, New York’s legendary ‘Dance On The Pier’ and Alegria, The Week in Brazil, Rapido and La Demence to name a few), Pagano has started to get noticed in the mainstream straight scene as well. US House legend Danny Tenaglia has publicly given the thumbs up to Pagano’s official 2014 Remixes of his 90s anthem ‘Music Is The Answer’ and British techno legend Carl Cox has supported two of Pagano’s singles in his Global Radio show.  There is no-stopping for Pagano’s positive momentum right now.

DJ Abel

Proud to be spinning since the age of 15 years old, and just celebrating 36 years of DJing,  Abel’s not just circuit style big, he’s Billboard big! Billboard music charts that is, having scored an endless run of Number 1 remixes for artists like Rihanna, Donna Summer, Janet Jackson and more, he was even nominated for a Grammy with my remix partner and house legend Ralphi Rosario for Rihanna’s ‘Only Girl In The World’. He’s played NYC’s biggest clubs, spun at all the major events in gaydom and now he returns to London for Epic. Boom, boom, shake, shake the room…

Promoter Michael Theriault

I think the biggest accomplishment for me would be the fact that I am here in London doing what I am doing. London has an amazing resume of nightclubs and nightlife. Being that there is that reputation, I take it very seriously and try to put on something for everyone.  And not just ‘this group’ or ‘that group’ will like, but I aim to make it so that all the genres can come out and enjoy themselves. Because at the end of the day that’s what it’s all about for me: everyone having a good time no matter who they are.

Porn Star Aaron Steel

The only thing that’s possibly more international and gives off more heat than porn stud Aaron Steel is the Sahara Desert… only there’s no sand in Aaron’s tight-as-steel butt cheeks (we know, we checked!) so he comes out on top.  Well, bottom. (If you watch his movies at least.)

Drag Host JP Goldie

JP Goldie grew up in beautifully grey Plymouth, migrated to London where he worked as a cameraman and editor, then for the past three years he’s been a freelance hair and makeup artist and now works for Apple.  “I am, of course, also a drag queen,” he tells us.  “I’m 27. HIV+.  My favourite music is industrial, powernoise, agrotech and metal, but I love all music house, classical, electro, opera.  And my hobbies are learning Arabic and I also do fire poi and fire staff.” So now you know!
Watch this new face to the gay scene rise and rise. Those heels, that full face of maquillage, that fierce look…
