Ginger Beer Bootcamp is the all-gay health and fitness break that is set to transform your fitness.
The health benefits of exercising are well known but the traditional work out environment can be very “straight” orientated and therefore intimidating for some gay men. Yet despite this, gay men are portrayed to be much more body conscious then most other demographics.
Gingerbeer Bootcamp aims to solve this problem by providing a safe and inclusive environment to work out in. Their exclusively all-gay bootcamp offers gay and gay-friendly staff; from the personal trainers and the chef, to the massage therapist and, of course, the owners. The residential bootcamps allow you to stay with them for either a long weekend or an entire week, in order to kick start your health regime.
Fresh and nutritious meals are served three times a day, with energy boosting snacks throughout to keep you going. Their accommodation is situated just outside Exeter in Devon – just over two hours direct by train from London, and comes complete with an indoor heated swimming pool.
From 2014 they are also offering a Gingerbeer Bootcamp in Sitges, Spain. You won’t just be exercising the whole time you are with them; they will also be holding workshops in order to educate you as to what is healthy and what is not.
A complete health check at the start and end of your bootcamp experience aims to show you what improvements have been made and what continues to need working on. You’ll be sent off with an exercise plan tailored specifically to you, and they’ll be in touch over the weeks and months after to see how you are progressing. Why would they want to do that?
