Yes, there’s still time to carry on the Halloween vibe from 8pm till late at this Stoke Newington based camp bar and basement Bamboo Lounge. With host Spider Webb (The Horrors) DJing a fabulous selection of camp rock n roll! Free to get in too.
This Friday 2nd November, it’s time to wave the subversive performer Christeene goodbye as they leave our shores for further adventures. At ICA: Christeene, they’ll be showcasing an entire evening with a celebratory one-night terrorist drag practice performance. I’ll be DJing throughout the evening too. 7pm till late, with film installation and all sorts!
If you haven’t been to Trouble, The Glory’s Friday Night Drag Tag Brawl then now is your chance on Friday 2nd from 10pm. On the bill Jacqui Potato and Yoko Fomo Djing and performing a late night drag mutiny with Annie Pics in tow till 2am. This night is hilarious, I can vouch for that.
Back for a cult return, one of my faves RAD FESTA is at VFD Friday 2nd November. The beautiful people return to this cultural space for an evening full of style. Music comes from Waj, Baby Flame, Jender Anomie and host Alexandre Simôes. Plus performance from my fave Kevin Le Grand Bailor.
Super excited to tell you about Adonis, a gay rave on Saturday 3rd November up at The Cause, Ashley Road in Tottenham Hale. Yes, the infamous all nighter is back with an all girl DJ lineup with Hannah Holland in room One all night long. In room two Elles, Grace Sands and me ha ha Princess Julia, I’ll be playing a full mix bangerz set! 10pm till 6am. Come on down to Adonis!
Back at The Glory this week on Sunday 4th November for Princess Julia LOVES, with my special guest Bad Lay-Dee the alter-ego of drag king Don One performing their sassy routine ‘Another Dimension’.
Mid week nights are all the rage…my regular readers will know I host Carry On Quizzing at The Retro Bar on Tuesdays on a regular basis – I’m back on the 13th November this month at 8pm.
Also visit Wednesday regular night Bombshell at Klub, 30 Lisle Street in Soho. It’s ‘London’s most fashionable TV/TS admirers and friends party’ from 10pm till 3am where Lady Lloyd and Tasty Tim DJ all the classics and know all the gossip, plus there’s a special guest performance every week at midnight! Haha! Get down there!!!
