Do you know what? I don’t think I’ll ever run out of things to do or say – there’s just so much to report on. All the time. That’s the only problem really. I keep getting distracted. I mean, there’s been all these award ceremonies including the Turner Prize, where all the artists decided to share the winnings. I liked that. Very poignant in these times. Then of course this is the silly season so there’s a heap of extra curricular activities to peruse…
Here’s one for you discerning shoppers – XTRADE 2019 at the Bistrotheque on 14th and 15th December from 12 midday ‘til 6pm on both days. It’s an art-based pop-up shopping experience created by AHMD (Anal House Meltdown), which is a club night & art collective. There’s just so much to buy, see & enjoy at this I can’t fit in all the details!
After the serious business of actually voting, in actual clubland everything is hilarious as usual. On 12th December it’s Happy Endings: Egg Nog at Dalston Superstore. It’s a Thursday night knees-up with the most fabulous local kooks and ‘speshul’ guest DJs Cherry B, Salvador Gnarly, MaK, Speed Gonzales, The Cosmic Whores, Marie Malarie and J.Aria. Plus performance from Issac Lee-Kronick and Rhyss Pieces. On the bar CeeCeeTeeVee & LASAGNA. 9pm – 2:30am.
OFF London Launch Party is on Saturday 14th December, yes a new night at The Steel Yard at Bank. With DJs Terry Vietheer, Hannah Holland, Pagano, Frederick & Kusse. Ambience created by NULLO. Hosted by Fras, Nadim, Sergio and Mikele. 11pm – 6am.
Mysterious alert! Opulence & Love Child on Saturday 14th December is a queer techno rave at a secret warehouse location. We all want to go now! Haha, 10pm – 7am!
