Adam Lambert, the Grammy-nominated international superstar, releases his highly anticipated new album “High Drama.” Featuring a collection of inspired cover songs, “High Drama” marks Lambert’s first release under his new contract with BMG.
There is also a stunning visual for “Getting Older,” a cover of Billie Eilish’s song. With the aid of prosthetics, Adam transforms into an older version of himself in the video directed by Heather Gildroy. The video is accompanied by current and past images of Adam’s life. These images illustrate the song’s lyrics and explore the complexities of getting older as they relate to Adam’s personal life.
Adam Lambert is the executive producer, along with production from Tommy English, Andrew Wells, Mark Crew and George Moore. Showcasing a diverse roster of songs from the old to the new, “High Drama” is held together by Lambert’s once-in-a-generation voice. The latest tracks include a dancefloor-focused version of “Sex On Fire” and a stunning rendition of Sia’s “Chandelier.” Previous releases include “Ordinary World” and “Holding Out For A Hero”.
Adam Lambert will perform at a one-off exclusive launch party to celebrate the release at London’s KOKO on Monday, February 27, which will give fans the first chance to hear hits from the new album live. KOKO may be sold out, but fans from around the globe can still view the live stream from the comfort of their homes.
