West London Queer Project’s mission has been to re-Queer West London with a multitude of pop-up events that provide a safe haven for us to gather and socialise. Events include roast lunches, parties, drag shows, walks through parkland and along rivers, trips to the countryside, exercise classes and book clubs.

Some events are paid for while others are free, and there’s always something to look forward to when you hang out with WLQP. They are also very supportive of worthy charitable causes that help improve and enrich all our lives.

This festive season will be their busiest yet as this award-winning project goes from strength to strength into the New Year.

Fruit Bowl Friday Social – Friday 6 December

West London Queer project’s last Fruit Bowl Friday Social for 2024!

Join WLQP for an informal social at No.17 Dickens Yard in Ealing Broadway, where we have exclusive use of their first-floor bar, lounge and terrace.

Our Friday Socials usually attract an unpretentious mixed-age/gender crowd and are a great way of meeting new people.

No.17 Dickens Yard is a 3-minute walk from Ealing Broadway Station, is wheelchair accessible and has mixed gender/solo WCs.

Tickets include a complimentary Prosecco or soft drink on arrival.

Sunday Roast Christmas Social – Sunday 8 December

Christmas with WLQP & Lola Lasagne – Sunday 15 December

For one night only, the legendary Lola Lasagne will be back in Chiswick for a drag roast extravaganza! You can expect a delicious Sunday Roast, a hilariously foul-mouthed drag queen, and to be seated next to someone you don’t know. Yet!

New Year’s Eve Party – Tuesday 31 December

WLQP are super excited to take over the entire Hole in the Wall, transforming it into a sparkly camp fest to celebrate NYE! Helping to see in the new year will be the fabulous Beary Poppins and DJ Weymi!
