12/05/19: We love that legendary London boozers like the Old Ship are still poppin’ on a Sunday night! God, did we really just say ‘poppin’? Are we Betty White? Anyway, The Old Ship’s great – it’s a casual, welcoming gay boozer in East London district Limehouse, and can always be relied on for a raucous pint and a good old fashioned knees-up. Last Sunday the legendary Dame Julie Paid took to the stage with her sparkle-frocked brand of cabaret, belting out show tune renditions and shocking punters with filthy jibes. It’s official, in case we didn’t know it already – UK drag is THE BEST drag.
