We’re sharing some exciting news happening in Clapham as Voltaire Road is now closing to car traffic every weekend. This is making space for a fabulous expansion of Arch Clapham’s terrace seating at one of our favourite homo hot spots. Every Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday, over 100 outside seats will be available for guests to enjoy the Clapham vibes and bask in the summer weather.
The weekend Voltaire Road closure is a fantastic development at Arch Clapham that brings even more outdoor socialising and enjoyment opportunities
The expanded terrace space is set to be an ideal location for socializing, soaking up the sun (when it finally arrives) while indulging in the cocky cocktail Happy Hour on offer. The good times also continue into the night, with resident DJs taking over until 1 am.
Best of all, entry is free, and the energy promises to be nothing short of fantastic. It’s the perfect opportunity to have a great time with friends and make the most of the weekend.
With the car-free zone in place, it’s clear that this will become a hotspot for locals and visitors alike looking for an unforgettable weekend experience. Whether looking to unwind after a busy week or kickstart the weekend with a bang, this is the perfect place.
We’re already imagining the lively atmosphere, the sound of laughter and the clinking of glasses against the backdrop of a vibrant and very queer Clapham.
The expanded outdoor space, free entry, and the promise of great music set the stage for an incredible weekend destination
QX looks forward to seeing the queer community coming together and making the most of this opportunity for outdoor fun and relaxation. It’s great to see initiatives like this that aim to create welcoming, enjoyable, safe spaces for everyone. So, save the date and prepare to experience the whole weekend of Voltaire Road closure in Clapham.
