G-A-Y STRIPPER AUCTION

25/02/12: Heaven lived up to its name in big way last weekend, when a bevy of rock-firm, fallen angels ascended the stage – ready to enlighten the disbelieving as to just what miracles exist amongst mankind!

A saintly endeavour never seemed quite so sinfully delicious, as the Stripper Auction – with the proceeds going to Elton John’s AIDS Foundation – went underway.

As part of the G-A-Y brand’s initiative to raise 10k in 10 days towards the cause, French Kiss, Gemini, Sexecute, Black Stallion and Armani, amongst other sensationally-titled titans in the 10 strong line-up, slashed their lean physiques out of a little more clothing each time – for cash in hand from the hungry crowd.

The bass lines soared and dived, the donation buckets swung overhead – and when the big orders came in, the delivery boys swung some choice possessions in our line of vision, too. Pilots, soldiers, cowboys and 70s pimps all blended into a baby oiled and whipped creamed selection of vanilla, tan and chocolate six-packs, rugby thighs, tight backsides and biceps.

One noticed that even a typically composed Jeremy Joseph punched the air and screamed involuntarily off-mic in the stage wings a few times! Those with true cause for excitement however, were the lucky gits – ahem, generous souls – who enjoyed a very public hands on experience.

There was no need to be shy, as the men at work so nicely showed them, and after all we’re all boys in this together! If you missed it, worry not – those in attendance will certainly be spreading the good word.
