(Open) Bridge Wine Bar

Gay Bar London: Bridge Bar
You’ll find anything BUT trolls under this bridge, as some of the hottest crumpet South of the river can be found in at Bridge Bar! The Bridge Bar is located mere minutes from Clapham North station and is a perfect place for pre-drinks with an intimate date or lazy Sunday sippers on their sunny patio area. Eclectically furnished with all manner of esoteric bric-a-brac, beautifully lit by candlelight after dark, we can’t think of a cuter spot in Clapham.

The Bridge Bar has a varied programme of ever-changing events, including quizzes and regular pre-parties for circuit sessions passing through the city. Pop in any night of the week and we guarantee you’ll find something to your taste, be it a boy, a beer or even just a cheeky bop to the resident DJs. Don’t be a silly billy(goat), get down to Bridge Bar!

It advertises itself as a gay wine bar. That makes it a classier joint than your average spit and sawdust kind of pub that we´re used to. They even have cinema days that serve wine with cheese!

The Bridge Bar is the perfect venue for Saturday night starters. (QX question: when you start having pre-drinks before your pre-drinks, does that mean you need to check-in to Betty Ford? Meh, we’ll let the hangover decide.) Inside the bar is lively with a remarkable number of the clientele turning it out in shirts and ties after work. The management must know that we have a soft spot for men in suits.

Other nights of the week the Bridge Bar offers such delights as a quiz night and drag bingo to keep the clientele entertained.
