Hotwired has the whole fetish world talking and is set to be a leather/fetish party like no other! Set up by infamous promoters Rob Rutt and Suzie Krueger, this sexy, steamy all-nighter is set to bring the hottest guys, most banging beats and unbelievable atmosphere when it hits hard and deep into the industrial Ewer Street space it takes over. We caught up with Rob and Suzie to find out more…
How did you go about setting up Hotwired?
ROB: Suzie and I wanted to set up a massive leather/rubber party with a strict dresscode that appealed to everyone- leather muscle men, fit rubber lads, hardcore fetish guys and circuit boys who wear their chaps once a year. We get them all.
Why do you think it’s been so popular over the years?
SUZIE: There’s nowhere like it. It’s the one night a year where everyone makes an effort. We have a strict leather/rubber dresscode (check the website) and we enforce it. Also, the guys are super hot. And the venue is incredible- there’s no other industrial Berlin-style venue in London.
What can the uninitiated expect from a trip down to Hotwired?
ROB: Lots of sexy guys. Lots of gear. Great music, a really friendly atmosphere, no attitude, huge cruising space with lots of fun stuff. Something for everyone! Some guys dance, some guys play, some guys hang out with their friends. Some people do all three. To guys who’ve never come I’d say- ‘Get some gear and try it!’
And finally, what new tricks have you got up your sleeve for this event?
SUZIE: We have some very cool new stuff. Although I’d have to bury you in concrete if I told you! Plus we’ve moved the space around and we have access to a whole new area that we’ve never used before. We’re very excited!
